BAD: Sydney Crime Writers Festival

The Sydney Crime Writers Festival is on this weekend, celebrating the talented writers and avid readers of contemporary and modern crime fiction. Nic had a chat with renowned crime literary critic Sue Turnbull, one of the speakers headlining the festival this year.

She gave a glimpse into some of the changes that have shaped the crime genre, including advancing technology and the recent shift from the typical slick city backdrop to more regional settings.
Sue will be exploring the evolution of crime fiction over the last 20 years on Saturday 2nd September. Throughout the festival, there will also be some great talks from ex-detectives, well known novelists and even crown prosecutors. Find out more about the festival and get your tickets here.
