The Bower Reuse & Repair Centre is an environmental charity committed to reducing waste from going to landfill. They take all sorts of things from salvaged building materials to household appliances, and sell them back to the community at bargain prices.

Teaching people how to repair and reuse their old bits and pieces is also a big part of what they do. They provide workshops in basic carpentry, furniture repair and restoration, furniture painting or introductory upholstery. General Manager Guido Verbist was on the show to tell us more.
