How climate change is effecting Broken Hill’s agricultural industries

As a semi-arid regional New South Wales desert town, Broken Hill tends to get pretty hot.

But add in the growing pressures of climate change, and it’s looking to get a whole lot hotter.

Predictions by climate scientists that more events like droughts and heatwaves will only become more frequent present big problems for Broken Hill’s agricultural industries.

So how equipped are they in dealing with these challenges?
