Could common herbicides be contributing to our antibiotic resistances?

Antibiotics are becoming less and less effective as a treatment, because of antibiotic resistance. Traditionally it was thought that this resistance was just related to improper use of antibiotics around the world, however, new research is suggesting that the problem may be more complex than initially thought. Could herbicides be contributing to this?
