Competitive Skipping Australia: Interview with Jeremy English

Skipping is not an activity that immediately comes to mind when one thinks of competitive sports. Whilst it is not officially recognised by the sports commission, it is an internationally loved sport.

Jeremy is a senior skipper at the Northbridge Knockouts and has been skipping for 14 years now. He is the 2012 junior world freestyle champion, winning silver overall. As part of the Northbridge Knockouts, Jeremy also went to Sweden in 2016 to compete in the world championships, where Australia placed 3rd.

Bryce chats to Jeremy about how he got involved in skipping, what his training regimen is, and what the future of skipping is in Australia. The next big event in Australian competitive skipping is the national championships in September at the Gold Coast.
