Dads Suffer from Postnatal Depression Too

Postnatal depression is something that has been talked about for many years, affecting mothers. However, it is quite normal for many dads to feel the anxiety and stress for becoming new fathers, allowing the depression to affect them as well.

With Dads suffering from this depression, there is evidence of these issues actually changing behavioural patterns of a family. Due to this, it is quite strange that we actually don’t hear about this issue in the media at all.

Today we were joined by Richard Fletcher, Associate Professor at the University of Newcastle to talk more about how Postnatal Depression affects fathers.
