Dance Classes Offering New Hope For People With Parkinson’s Disease

For people with Parkinson’s, it can be difficult to walk, move their muscles or maintain their balance. But there’s a dynamic new way of pushing back against the stigma at Camberwell Uniting Church in Melbourne, where dance classes have been offered to sufferers, not only boosting their confidence, but their motor skills as well.

The Daily was joined by Erica Rose Jeffrey, the director and lead teacher of Dance for Parkinson’s Australia, who spoke to us about this phenomenon.
