Eat Your History with Jacqui Newling – 28th Jun 2016

Nic is joined by colonial gastronomer, Jacqui Newling, to talk the history of breakfasts in Australia. This week we move forward to the Victorian era, where hashed breakfasts rule. Jacqui talks us through the delicious (bacon and bananas, anyone?) to the bizarre (devilled kidneys…).

Jacqui’s book, Eat Your History, features more weird and wonderful ways breakfast was enjoyed in the past. You can also check out her blog, The Cook and the Curator.
