Effect of the new HSC syllabus on students’ health

The HSC is taken by over 70,000 year 12 students per year, these students spend every minute of that year worrying and stressing over their grades to ensure they receive the University entry they desire or may need. Recently the Board of Studies have introduced a new HSC syllabus that has more complex topics. This will mean that Students are going to have work twice as hard for their ATAR, but what does this do to the stress levels and development of a young student?
