Govt moves to protect small business from unfair contracts

With over two million small businesses in Australia you would think that there would be some protection from unfair contracts but until now there hasn’t been. Now the federal government is aiming to correct that with the introduction of a bill that would provide small business with consumer-like protection from unfair contracts. The proposed new law will provide a uniform process across the states with access to mediation via the ACCC.
