Indigenous Communities Struggling to Keep Up With Technology
With technology changing so fast it can be very difficult for laws and education catch up. Talking about cyber safety and security for Australian young people has become more and more of a concern, but what about those young people who are often overlooked such as those in Indigenous communities? Cyber safety may not be the first issue you think of when you consider the kind of problems facing remote communities but it is a growing and concerning issue. The Daily was joined by Ellie Rennie, Deputy Director at Swinburne University’s Institute for Social Research for more.
