Lady Macbeth is William Oldroyd’s 2017  chilling  drama  that transports the audience back to 19th Century rural England following the life of Katherine, starring Florence Pugh.  In a very evocative fashion, the film takes a darker, Brontë-esque turn when Katherine meets house servant Sebastian.
