Thursday Breakfast

Thursday 6:00am - 9:00am

7.00 - Audio Adventure

We take you on an audio adventure to somewhere strange, wonderful and entirely different. We take audio from something that has been broadcast somewhere, somehow before.

This week, sound engineer Robbi-985 has created a piece of music made entirely from Windows sounds.

7.15 - Does your arts look big in this?

If you like your arts hard up with a dash of realism – Rochelle Fernandez is your girl. Each week Rochelle brings plays, books or artistic endeavours to the microphone to aurally dissect.

“I can hear the drums Fernandez!” mediocre at best Abba impersonator

“You’re so friggin talented” Cosmo Kramer

“There ain’t no money in the bin when it comes to Fernandez” Tim Demel

Rochelle Fernandez is also a play reviewer for Aussietheatre.com – check out her latest review here http://www.aussietheatre.com/about.htm

7.40 - Lies, Secrets and Lies

If you can’t tell lies from secrets and secrets from lies – or can tell secrets from lies but like to hear a bit of discussion around important issues happening in the world - Shaun Thompson is the man.

“He unravels the lines like a cityrail diagram.” Evan Handed

The auteur’s auteur” Bob Brown

“If someone gets sick in Lidcome, it’s possible Shaun won’t make sense” P Dockrill

8.00 - Movie Reviews

So it comes time to foray to the cinema, and you find yourself talking about “Margaret and David” as if they are old chums of yours? Try a different opinion on for size. Michael Jones and Nathan Laid scrutinize the latest that cinema has to offer.

8.30 - Sams Town

"So why do you waste my time?"
Is the answer to the question on your mind
And I'm sick of all my judges,
so scared of letting me shine
But I know that I can make it,
as long as somebody takes me home...

Ok – so it isn’t an except from the highly acclaimed radio mini-series Samstown – but it is an except from the theme tune – the Killers song that goes by the same name.

Each week Sam continues on his quest to come to peace with his ego and get all the girls.
