It's the show where I get to wax lyrical regarding all that is satirical with one of Australia's luckiest paid bastards, humourist and allround stirrer Ben Pobjie joins me on the air every week from 4.30pm

March 26 - Art Month Sydney drawing to a close -
Well, they say time flies when you're having fun, a sentiment none truer than in the case of Sydney Art Month, which draws to a close after March 31...>
But this continuing emergence art is making on the local cultural hubbub, means that soon the month will no longer need be distinguished by a calendar month..Because EVERY month is Arts month
Carriageworks is exhibiting the best Sydney has to offer hosting "CarriageARTworks", all inclusive, from mainstream to ARI run spaces, I had a chat with one of the curators and Senior Curator at the Casula Powerhouse, Paul Howard
CarriageARTworks runs through til April 24
INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY SPECIAL - Monday March 8
March 8 saw a special time for women worldwide...
Every year we at 2ser put together an entire day of programming devoted to the fairer sex,and as such, an all out testosterone ban was placed on all shows.
And so I took the reins from Al with a fair amount of aplomb, as we were treated to a live, in-studio set, by Miss Little: headed by kiwi ex-pat, Sarah McCallum...
Also, in honour of IWD, Waterloo gallery, 2 Danks St., hosts a special display of indigenous art from Kathleen Petyarre and Joanne Currie...
Whilst Petyarre is in the final stages of exhibition career, Currie is only at the beginning, but together, the women bring a unique style to the table...
Launched by a special bridge walk, Ripples in the Sand, Lines in the Water, is a special feminist insight into the individual and their affiliation with the various elements and their homeland...
March 2nd - "Elevating a disaster into a catastrophe" - The Exhibition, as well as the current political climate..
February 16 - Viva la street art revolution, Pobjie's pissed 'bout Barnaby and the debut of segment: "Musical Microscope"
Another show, so full of audio goodness, I nearly went overtime, hence depriving the good listeners of Sydney from The Wire..
5.15 - Temperance Pop-Up Gallery The issues involving the expression of the street artist and bureaucracy has long plagued the city. This lack resolve has not been ignored, with news of the establishment of a Centre entitled, Designing Art Crime Research. Mark Titmarsh is an artist whose background is in painting, and he currently is working at the centre with hopes of addressing the problematic nature of street art and grafitti.
He was also curator in charge of the Temperance Lane Pop-up Gallery inspiration, his work also on display (as pictured above). The night was in an effort to embrace the potential offered in this type of laneway art - such as that of Melbourne which is characterised by this charming culture - with the hope of organising more.
With the Centre earning favour with financial support and backing from the NSW Dept of Justic and Attorney-General as well as Sydney council, it featured a diverse spread of works from artists, designers, taggers and architects alike.

The night reportedly drew a huge crowd - some 1000 people accumulatively - which definitely stresses the point that the arts community is urgently wishing to develop and emerge its wares across Sydney even more determinedly...
