Protecting Australian designers from theft

Global fashion retailer, Zara, has been accused of plagiarising print and accessory designs from over 30 artists worldwide.

Melbourne-based graphic designer, Georgia Perry, is one of those artists, and claims Zara is not the first major corporation to plagiarise her work.

So what can be done to ensure independent artists are protected?
