A new report from Infrastructure Australia has made claims of saving “Australian taxpayers up to $15.5 billion by 2040”. How realistic are these savings? What sort of systems govern our transportation industry? John Stanley is an Adjunct Professor at Sydney University and Bus Industry Confederation Senior Research Fellow in Sustainable Land Transport at the Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies, University of Sydney, and he joined the Daily to talk more.
