Trans-Pacific Partnership on shaky ground after US election

Through the United States presidential election campaign, Donald Trump has been very vocal about the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) being bad for America.

On the other hand, the Turnbull Government has promoted the TPP as beneficial for Australian beef, wheat and dairy industries.

While the TPP is still before the US congress, experts doubt Australians will be seeing the agreement finalised under a Trump presidency.
