Vitamin Gummies: Are they just nutritional insurance?

Dietary supplements are a big business but have you ever noticed how many there are for kids? Known as vitamin gummies, these supplements are often bought as a form of nutritional insurance to compensate for poor eating habits. To disguise the acidity and unappealing taste, they often have lots of sugar and artificial flavourings.

Some people even use these gummies as lollies but despite their lolly-like exterior, the combination of the acidity of the vitamins and the high sugar content is particularly damaging to children’s health.
