Future Bright A playful and immersive world to delight kids and adults

About: Compose a symphony of light and sound with giant colourful musical balls, create a living ecosystem of animals and plants with digital graffiti, test out your building skills, design a futuristic town, and try your hand at electronic hopscotch.

Alice in Wonderland presented by Sand Sculpting Aus

About: This summer see the Lewis Carroll classic ‘Alice in Wonderland‘ come to life in SAND on the Showground Plaza at the Blacktown Showground! All your favourites will be on display from the Cheshire Cat, The Queen of Hearts, the Caterpillar, The Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and more! Brought to life in over 250 tonnes of sand by 4 International and 6 of Australia’s best sand artists – this exhibition is not to be missed! You can dial up the fun for children too! Enjoy our integrated hands on activities from sand art, sand bottles,  sand sculpting workshops, our family game zone and more.

Mazda Opera at the Domain

About: It’s a tradition. Every year, thousands of Sydneysiders head to the Domain with picnics packed and friends in tow.Hear Australia’s brightest stars, under the stars, sing opera’s most famous arias with the magnificent backing of a full orchestra. Dress up – or not – it’s your night to enjoy the power of the human voice in the kind of communal, cultural celebration Sydney loves best.
