2SER-FM Radio School Winter Calender 2010

The 2SER Radio School kicks off in July for its courses for the winter calendar.

Courses in radio presentation and production are based on accredited units in Radio. Students receive a Statement of Attainment which may lead to Full Radio

Certificates through recognized prior learning in 2011.

Courses

1. Radio Presentation and Story Production – voice, presentation, scripting and producing a story to go to air.
$660 (over 3 weeks)

2. Digital Production – adobe audition and protools, learn the principles of sound editing and produce/edit stories using digital editing techniques.
$660 (over 3 weeks)

3. Radio Presentation & Digital Production Intensive – This course combines workshops in voice/presentation using stories produced through digital editing. The secret in good presentation is not just in the efficient use of your voice, and presentation techniques (Microphone use) but also with seamless editing. Software’s such as adobe audition and pro-tools are used in both a window and Mac learning environments.
$1100 (over 4 weeks)

4. Podcasting – Besides being a major buzzword in the web environment, podcasts have increasingly become part and parcel of the everyday online downloading life. You can’t do without these skills - quite handy with its increasing use even in the workplace. Understand how it works, create broadcast-ready podcasts and learn how to upload on the web.
$572 (over 3.5 weeks)

5. Digital Production & Podcasting Intensive – Combine the use of latest digital editing techniques and turn it into podcasts allowing you to listen to audio you’ve produced when you want it. Audio production techniques and creation of podcasts are combined in a hands-on workshop environment. Use of protools editing software is included.
$1100 (over 5 weeks)
