Wollongong Council Election
Wollongong council became famous in February 2008 when ICAC dismissed the council due to systematic corruption.
In September 2008 the government watchdog closed its books laying 21 charges against three people.
Fast forward to 2017 and this weekend, Wollongong will elect the second council since 2008.
