World Diabetes Day 2016

With more than 7 per cent of Australians managing diabetes, it is important to raise awareness of the disease. Today is World Diabetes Day, with this year’s theme focusing on eyes. Diabetes affects over 400 million adults around the world and is responsible for 5 million deaths every year, but the disease can be managed with early detection. We were joined by Sturt Eastwood, CEO of Diabetes NSW and ACT to find out more.
