The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever

If you don’t already know, Kate Bush is a singer-songwriter from England, arguably most well-known for her song ‘Wuthering Heights’; based on the book of the same name. The accompanying music video, including a signature red dress, unconventional choreography and unmistakable vocals, has amassed a sort of cult-like following. One day every year, events are organised in many major cities to pay homage to this amazing work of art. At these events, people from all over gather to re-create this spectacle by wearing red, and dancing around in parks, which is nearly as good as a misty, seemingly random forest, that featured in the music video. Natalie Mitchell is a co-organiser for Sydney’s ‘Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever’ and spoke to Joel Cassim on Tuesday Drive.
