Musicians Inga Liljeström and Leigh Ivin join us from the UK and Australia respectively to discuss their new collaborative release, a limited edition CD release called, ‘Of Stars and Stones’. Inga & Leigh will share their recording process and how they set out to produce a filmic experience with walls of sound created by the pedal steel guitar and with voice and words weaving through the atmosphere.
mr.K drops in from Brisbane to share with us a very tasty debut compilation from a new indie Berlin-based label called Woodland Creatures. This release has had him itchin’ and twitchin’ like a chair dancing fool since he downloaded it from bandcamp a couple of weeks back. He’ll be sharing a few tracks on it from Curved Radio faves Ducks!, Yvois and some sonic yumminess from Woodland Creatures label head, Skwirl.
and Gayle has another fabulous collection of new and not so new surprises to keep our collective curves curving as we bounce between universes, from here to there and back again.
