Born out of a string of house parties with a strong DIY ethos, Psyched As. quickly became a trusted name within the community that was pulling together a plethora of local bands that were widely unrecongised by the mainstream. From fuzzed out garage, through to alt-contry and blues, the collective knew the sound of Sydney.

So tonight on The Band Next Door on 2SER, ahead of their biggest show to date, event brain Brad Kafer drops into the studios to give an insight to the festival, which this weekend pays tribute to it’s late co-founder Richard Mills.
