Music Has a Profound Effect on Learning

Over the past four years the West Australian Symphony Orchestra has introduced a music program in schools. This program pairs children from disadvantaged areas with classical musicians. Since it’s introduction, this program has been shown to have a profound effect on their learning as well as demonstrated a number of other social benefits. Cassandra Lake WASO’s Crescendo program coordinator joined us to tell us more about this program and it’s exciting positive results.
