An Unsure Future for South Australia’s Arts Sector

After 16 years of labour rule, South Australia switched to a liberal government in March of this year. Since the switch, the state government has announced some changes, such as cuts totaling $31.9 million over the next 4 years as well as a vision for a National Aboriginal Arts and Cultural Gallery.

Associate Professor of Cultural Policy and Arts Management, Jo Caust, from the University of Melbourne, joined us to talk about the future of South Australia’s arts sector in light of the new government’s remodeling.
