ANU All Hacked Up – Some Cyber Safety Tips

It only took one email by an unknown group of hackers late last year to steal the personal information of a large number of staff and students at the Australian National University in Canberra.
This sophisticated hack didn’t even need a link to be clicked on to make there way into the system.
Now almost a year since the 2 month long ‘cyber fight’ began, ANU have finally released full report of what happened at each stage.
Joining us today to talk about the ANU hack and share few tips about our own cyber-safety, we have Professor Matt Warren, Deputy Director of the Deakin University Centre for Cyber Security Research and Innovation.
