Are Casual Workers In Australia Finally Getting A Fair Go?

Are you one of Australia’s 2.6 million casual workers?

 While casual workers are not entitled to annual leave, personal leave, notice of termination or redundancy pay, they are entitled to 25% pay loading. Most recently, the Australian Federal Court has confirmed long-term casual workers can dispute their status and seek payments for entitlements such as paid leave. 

To learn more about the conditions surrounding casual work, we were joined by Andrew Stewart, a John Bray Professor of Law at  the University of Adelaide.
