Are Junk Food Specials An Issue In Supermarkets?

New research from Deakin University has shown that Australian supermarkets are putting junk food on special twice as often as healthy food, making it easier than ever for Australians to fill their carts with unhealthy options. We spoke to Adrian Cameron, Associate Professor & Associate Director of the Global Obesity Centre at Deakin University to discuss why this is happening, what it means for the Aussie shopper, and what needs to be done to fix it.
