Art Meets Science in ANU Exhibition

What happens when you mix the products of art, with the tools of scientific research? Everyday objects and scientific items from the John Curtin medical research centre has been recycled and turned into a very quirky and innovative sculptures for the “Silent Witness” exhibition at ANU. After the John Curtin medical research centre was refurbished, many items were salvaged from the building to be used, and the installations created were inspired from the history of the significant researches conducted at the centre. We spoke to Sculptor Martin Rowney, an artist whose work features in this exhibition.
