Audience Engagement and Participation in TV

After the airing of the Game of Thrones finale last week, there was a large outpour from the online community, who all seemed to have differing opinions on the quality of the episode. Throughout the final season there has been large communities of fans discussing, critiquing and engaging with Game of Thrones. We were joined by Dr. Anthony Lambert Senior Lecturer at Department of Media, Music, Communication and Cultural Studies at Macquarie University to discuss the changing role of audience engagement and participation in Television.
