Australia Day and Contention with First Nations Community

Each year thousands of people gather to rally against the celebration of Australia day, a day that many believe should be a day to mourn the beginning of colonial oppression. Believed to be a day of invasion many Australians both indigenous and non indigenous argue that the date should be completely abolished or changed all together. The Monday Daily show was joined by Ian Hamm, chairman of the First Nations Foundation, who she she interesting insight into the topic.
