By October this year, climbing the Uluru will be banned. There are a few reasons for this, like the sacred nature of the land, people treating it as a theme park and the number of deaths. However, Pauline Hanson’s comments on her disapproval of this decision has made it clear that there we need to address why the shutting down of the walk is important.
