Back in Black and Yellow: The De-extinction of Tasmanian Tigers

Ever since they went extinct in the 1930’s people have been claiming they’ve seen a Tassie Tiger. They’re mad. Or at least that’s what my drop bear hunting roommate reckons.

 But let’s cut to the chase, you may have heard this month that researchers at the University of Melbourne have teamed up with US tech company Colossal to de-extinct the Thylacine and it’s causing a thyla-scene. Breakfast presenter Danny Chifley spoke with the man leading the research at the University of Melbourne Professor Andrew Pask!
