Bell Shakespeare’s Coriolanus plays at The Neilson Nutshell

To the Shakespearen fans, lend me your ears! Coriolanus, known as one of Shakespeare’s most exhilarating political works, is brought back to life by Bell Shakespeare

It’s a story about the Roman Republic, war, power, politics, betrayal and revenge! Coriolanus is a ferocious warrior and defender of Rome. But his contempt for the public, and his refusal to play the political game, see him banished from the city he once protected.

When he joins forces with his former enemy to seek vengeance against Rome, the fate of the city, and of Coriolanus himself, hangs in the balance.

Coriolanus plays at The Neilson Nutshell at the wharf from the 20th June – 19th July 2025.

Starring in Coriolanus, cast member Jules Bilington joined Danny Chifley for a chat on 2SER Breakfast.
