Australia Day, or Invasion Day, is coming up this Sunday, a date that has been hotly debated for years now. Particularly in the mainstream we see more and more debate in recent years. Beyond 2020: My Australian Dream is a panel taking place as part of Sydfest 2020, in partnership with the University of Technology Sydney, that asks the question, “What could a national day look like that is inclusive for all Australians?”

One of the panelists, Professor Lindon Coombes, joined 2SER Weekend Breakfast Host, Jess Klajman, to discuss the issues involved. The Sydfest 2020 panel discussing this topic further, is taking place tomorrow night, 22nd January from 6pm at Sydney Town Hall. Click here for more details.
