Black Cockatoo Crisis To Open Australian Museum’s Inaugural Environmental Film Festival

Australia’s iconic black cockatoos are in crisis. As mining and deforestation in Western Australia push the species further and further towards extinction, community will to save them is growing.
Jane Hammond is the Perth based director of the documentary film Black Cockatoo Crisis, an exploration of the impossible threats the birds face.
On Friday June 6th, the film will open the inaugural Australian Environmental Film Festival, taking place at the Australian museum.
