BlakDance helps shape Australian Government’s Cultural Policy

The Australian government’s New Cultural Policy has gained increasing attention since it was released in January 30.

The five-year policy, titled Revive, will inject $286 million to revive Australia’s arts, entertainment and cultural sectors.

The policy majorly impacts First Nations organisations in the arts industry, and Brisbane-based contemporary dance and choreography group, BlakDance, played an important role in shaping this policy.
