Brexit: Triggering Article 50

The UK government had proposed a fast-track bill in Parliament, which would begin the process of leaving the EU. After 59 years involvement in the European Union, Article 50 would be triggered in March 2017, that would allow for Britain to formally leave the EU in April of 2019. While the Brexit was a decision made by the public, many have stated that it was a mess that could have been avoided, questioning the future of Britain’s ties with Europe. Joining Sean on the line to discuss how this Brexit bill would affect Europe was Professor Dr. Jurgen Brohmer, Professor of Law and Dean of the Law School at Murdoch University.
