Bullying and Harassment of Teachers: A Real Problem in Australian Schools

We often talk about combating bullying in the playground, yet forget that teachers can also be potential victims. 

New research by La Trobe University looked at the experiences of 560 teachers across Australia in 2018, and found over 80% of respondents recorded experiences of bullying or harassment by students or parents in the last 12 months.

This morning on Breakfast Tess was joined by lead researcher Dr Paulina Billett to unpack the research and chat about how we can begin to include teachers in the discourse and offer them more support.
