Bullying Awareness Week
This week marks the bullying awareness week, which aims to stand up and combat bullying. Statistics have shown that 200 million children worldwide had fallen to become victims of bullying, where 1 in 4 Australian children is affected by bullying. This number is extremely alarming and is on the rise with technology such as social media. With an increasing number of victims what can we do to prevent these numbers from rising? 2SER was joined on the line to discuss what impacts bullying has to adolescents by Dr Marilyn Campbell, Professor of Cultural and Professional Learning at Queensland University of Technology.
