Radio. It’s something that we love and the medium that reaches more people than any other in the world. Under the motto of Dialogue, Tolerance and Peace, the 8th World Radio Day aims to facilitate peaceful dialogue on contention issues such as migration and violence against women, and promote unity among those that may have vastly different cultural perspectives.

In honour of world radio day, Mick chats to Greg Poppleton, the host of 2ser’s second longest running show, Phantom Dancer. Having hosted the radio show for over 35 years, Mick and Greg had an insightful discussion on the intriguing history of radio, why the medium is still so relevant, and the media transformation Greg has witnessed in his long standing career.
