Cerebral Palsy Rates Drop Over the Last Decade

Over the past decade, the number of children born with cerebral palsy in Australia has decreased by nearly a third. More than 37 000 Australians currently suffer from the condition which affects the posture and movements of those impacted. Along with decreasing cases of cerebral palsy the register report into cerebral palsy, new technology has also been working to reduce the severity of the condition. Professor Jozef Gecz from the University of Adelaide joined us on the Wednesday Daily this morning to unpack the report.
