With all the distressing news we’ve received over the past 24 hours, it’s time for a dose of good news!
Northern Sydneysider Kathy Wong started Moeloco after she came to learn that over 300 million children around the world don’t own a pair of shoes and, in some parts of the world, that means they can’t go to school with serious risk of harm.
Moeloco works on a simple one-for-one business model: you buy a pair of thong and then a pair of canvas shoes is donated to a child in need. To date, Moeloco have donated over 6000 pairs!
