How chemistry could help reduce waste to landfill

Ever eat an orange or a mandarin and munch on the insides and just throw the skin away? Yep, thought so.

Aside from throwing these organic matters into unnecessary landfill, what repurposing are we missing out on when we chuck them out?

Bradley Williams is a chemistry expert from the University of Technology Sydney and says something as small as an orange peel holds massive potential if repurposed through the practice of chemistry.
