Cracking the Creative Heart of Sydney Open

When was the last time you took in some art? Most of us were forced along to major galleries in high school. And for some of us, that was the last time we ever pondered a painting. You may even have found yourself hauled along in front of paintings older than white civilization in Australia and struggled to connect with what lies before you. Well, with the month of March in Sydney being Art Month, this could be the perfect opportunity to reverse that trauma and get involved in a wide range of activities across the city for you to explore. We were joined by Emma O’Neill, the Festival Director for Art Month, who detailed the vibrant month ahead for Sydney with small and more intimate galleries, workshops for those wanting to get their hands dirty, panel discussions, and ‘peak behind the curtain’ experience tours into artist studios and private collections.
