Craving Comfort Foods Completely Normal

 

You can go easy on yourself for not sticking to your healthy meal plan and reaching for that cheesy bowl of pasta. Psychologists say that we subconsciously crave comfort foods during the winter months. This is because the winter months have a chemical, evolutionary and psychological effect on us. 

The Daily spoke to Jacqui Yoxall, Associate Professor for Allied Health at Southern Cross University, about why this is the case.
