Darug Language and Culture Workshop

Language is the lifeblood of Australia’s first nation people and since colonization, the overall oral traditions of Australia’s indigenous people have sharply declined and are endangered. As indigenous languages disappear, a vast array of cultural knowledge silently withers away identity and sense of place. Julia spoke with Hayden Walsh, Indigenous producer at Sydney’s Living Museums  about the up-coming workshop dealing with Darug culture and language.
