Georgia Mulligan is an artist whose lyricism and musicality cuts to the core, pulls you in, and stays with you long after your very first listen. 

The Sydney musician released her debut album ‘Nothing Wrong’ back in 2023, and since then she’s been gigging and chipping away at her musical projects – you may have caught her at the Dream State Metro Theatre gig, or appearing on stages across the city.

‘Nothing Wrong’ feels like a diary entry, a raw and intimate look at life, and is where I first fell in love with Georgia’s music. Being able to feel truly seen through the music of someone you don’t even know is one of the many gifts of art, and while me acknowledging this feeling exists isn’t revolutionary, Georgia’s album was one I truly could see parts of myself in. It’s one I’ve consistently returned to for years, and is truly an incredible work.

Jumping off of the magic of ‘Nothing Wrong’, Georgia’s back into the swing of new music, teasing and preparing for the release of her upcoming sophomore album. Her most recent single ‘Note’ is best listened to as the passenger in a car, while overlooking rolling hills and maybe a few cows if you’re lucky – and I couldn’t agree more. Note feels like a standout track in Georgia’s discography, while being more upbeat, her vocals are still at the core, and is only enhanced by the incredible instrumentation. Note is a song that pulls on your heart strings while still creating a sway. It feels like a step forward for her and her music, while still having all the quintessential elements of a GM track. This is a song that wraps you up, and pulls you in before gently letting you go.
